Repairing the boiler

Initially two tubes on the boiler were leaking and required replacing. A fuller inspection suggested that all the tubes were reaching end of life and were corroded. Rather than facing piecemeal replacement a decision was made to replace all the tubes. This work is now underway and the photographs below show the progress. Once this work is complete we should be back in steam by Easter with a boiler fit for use for another 15 years.
